<p><strong>New Delhi:&nbsp;</strong>In mid-January, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman last week launched the new mobile app by the name 'Union Budget Mobile App' for hassle-free access to Budget documents by the MPs and the general public using the simplest form of digital convenience. Both the houses of parliaments Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha approved of the initiative. The 2021 Budget is unique in many ways, this will be the first ever paperless budget.</p> <p>Budget 2021 was designed by Nirmala Sitharaman and her team which consisted of Revenue Secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey, Chief Economic Advisor Krishamurthy Subramanian, Financial Services Secretary Debasish Panda, secretary of the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management Tuhin Kanta Pandey, Economic Affairs Secretary Tarun Bajaj, Expenditure Secretary T.V. Somanathan.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Economic Survey, released on Friday, projected a GDP contraction of 7.7% for the year ending March 2021 and V-shaped recovery in the next. GDP growth is seen expanding by 11% in the 2021-22 fiscal (April 2021 to March 2022).</p>
